Well, we decided that we would brace the crowds, and go see New Moon.
It was really spectacular! This movie got to showcase some great acting! It is far different from the first movie. Thank heavens for a new hair and makeup department! Finally Bella isn't paler than the vampires! :) It made me happy to see that some of those smaller details were taken care of and addressed in this film. The storyline was very smooth, and all fit in great with the book. It really captured the torture Bella and Edward felt apart, and how tortured Jacob was by how much it hurt Bella, and how much he cared for her. All of the parts with the Voltorri (for those who aren't familiar with the books, the Voltorri are basically vampire royalty. They enforce all the rules and laws that vampires have.) were exactly how Caleb and I had both imagined it, except for the fight sequence, which wasn't in the book, but fit really well.
All in all, we give it 2 thumbs up, and are looking forward to seeing it again.

We tried to do a double date night Friday night and The Blind Side was sold out :=( glad you were able to get into your movie!
